TURID MEEKER CONTEMPORARY ART was founded in the early 1990s with the intent to fill an increasing need for professional guidance in the process of acquiring contemporary art. After more than fifteen years in the New York art world, many of them as director of galleries in Soho in the 80s, the connections and relationships, cultivated over time, with dealers, artists, and collectors and the networks established with art professionals such as conservators, restorers, framers, art handlers, shippers, and appraisers, have proven to be an invaluable asset, one which assures qualified advice by experts whenever and wherever needed.
